Everyone must be familiar with the Little Men and Little Miss series. In Australia, there’s a store (Jay Jay) that came up with the Little Losers series.

F.Y.I the shirts were so popular by the teenagers, that it received enormous attention from the public, Jay Jay had to even stop restocking/selling them.

  • Take all tee-shirts in the Little Losers’ range out of window displays in all Australian and New Zealand stores
  • Not restock any Little Losers’ tee-shirts that have a motif which has alcohol related messages or sexual innuendos

“We believe that this is an appropriate response and encourage all our consumers to shop appropriately for their age and attitude,” said Mr Murray Jay Jays is part of the Just Group, which is the leading fast fashion retailer in Australia and New Zealand.

Read more about it here

Kenneth bought the Mr. Well Hung and Asshole, Kit bought the Mr. Agro, Eka bought the Mr. Drunk, and i got myself Mr. Pimp (:

We wore it yesterday all together, and paraded around Rundle Mall (City). Wanted a group shot however Eka returned back to Singapore yesterday already, leaving nothing but the three losers behind.

Anyhow, i’ve started packing up my work desk, labortory and hostel already. Submitted the finalized report to Dr Bremmell, and it’ll be left with some other miscellaneous documents for her to sign. First of February, which is tomorrow will be my last day at work, my oh my, how time files.

Basically, i’ll just be in school to collect some documents, return my set of keys, take some photographs with my colleagues and memorable places, and then head to Rundle for some last minute shopping. The evening’s already planned out in details, not a fancy dinner over at Hog’s Breathe (Singapore beef is nothing compared to Australia local juicy beef , Singapore beef are directly imported from Malaysia), a cheaper option because apparently Alphutte cost $75 AUD or more for a basic set meal. It will be ended off with the last gathering/chill out over at Jeffery’s place, before we rush back to finalize the packing and clean up our hostel for inspection.

If time permits, i might actually do a quick and short update regarding my memories of/last few hours in Adelaide, if only time permits. Meanwhile, you people please take extra care, and start to clear some time slots because i’m coming home.

Yves Saint Laurent Men Fall 2008 January 29, 2008

There’s usually a runway shoot, but this year Yves Saint Laurent ditched it and went for a unorthodoxy video shoot for their Fall/Winter 2008 men collection. Impressive, i must comment.

Stefano Pilati has clearly been thinking about the positive response he gets from people in the art world, because he decided to dispense with orthodoxy this season and create an artifact a little more enduring than a 15-minute fashion show. Working with filmmakers from a London company called Colonel Blimp (who’ve made videos for Massive Attack, among others), he produced a seven-minute film featuring British actor Simon Woods running, jumping, and standing still across three screens. Michel Gaubert provided a soundtrack that swirled Lou Reed and Portishead into an intense stew. Add Saint Laurent’s own friendship with Andy to the mix, and there was a Warholian undercurrent to the whole enterprise.

Runway of Spring Summer 2007 July 16, 2007

During the start of this year, i ran through some of my favorite designer’s runways. Along the way, i picked out some of the design that’s pretty unique and visible. It’s such a pity that those seasons are already long over, okay maybe nearly over. However you still can mix and match them the way you want it to suit your day, be your own fashionista.

In fact these are pretty useful for me when i leave for Adelaide this late August, i’ll be experiencing their late winter, spring and the dreaded summer.

Don’t worry, i’ll do a full coverage on spring 2008’s hottest trend, plucked straight from the still-warm runways of Milan and Paris. Then you’ll be able to expect what’s going to hit like dengue in Singapore, therefore please stay tuned for the latest updates, don’t miss it.

Like what i love to address to many, dressing well is the best revenge.
