Let’s get high.

Headed to Sky City Casino for buffet lunch yesterday, it’s just around 1 kilometer away from the University, rather accessible. I was told the buffet cost $9 AUD however upon arrival it became $14.50, but who cares when everyone’s famished (Sydney’s favorite word).

The only way to be granted entry for the casino is the passport, making things very troublesome/complicated. I mean, it’s not safe to carry such a important item in your hand and walk around the street right?

Yes, that’s what you see near the main entrance. Not much damage done for the decoration/ambience aspect though. On first impression the place reminded me of a old folks home, as in most people i see are around that age range with white hair/nearly all white type. Making me realised that when you are old and people starts to think you are a nuisance, going to a casino to kill time can be a good idea. There’s free hot drinks around to keep you warm while gambling. oh provided if you have the gold.

Yummy yummy, the pork chop, third from the left left the best impression on me. Screw the myth about Australia’s air pork.

I had a total of 3 dishes of food before tapping out and turning to desserts, /burp!

In conclusion, the wide range of food spread is good however they were more on the salty side. Makes me wonder if they have a NKF organization ready for the people who dine here quite often. Like what i mentioned about, the pork chop was fantastic, and i cannot stop helping myself to it. However, i think having a lunch buffet is not very practical as compared to the dinner type, for your information the dinner buffet’s price rockets to $49.90 AUD.

Some of my friends went to try their few dollars on the slot machines before leaving, and the result is obvious. Walked around all the slot machines, and i only heard someone getting jackpot once, the probability is shit i tell you.

Personally, i think gambling is fine if it’s just for the fun, and you can afford it. However if you are planning to live via gambling, 2 words, you’re screwed.
